Hello Penguins!

It looks as if you’re having a great time exploring at the Cave Expedition! There’s been lots of creativity in the Mine lately – and we’re really hoping you’ll be able to help the team with a creative decision…

From January 29 to February 14, Quebec, Canada hosts a giant winter celebration called Carnival. It’s the largest winter carnival in the world, and if you have the chance to go this year, you’ll see a Club Penguin area with activities, lots of ice sculptures, and tons of surprises! There’s even going to be an award-winning ice artist. We really want your help to decide the final ice sculpture he’ll carve live during Carnival!! Click on the box that matches the one you’d like to see the most

For those of us who can’t be at the event, we’ll have someone get a picture and I’ll post it on the blog in February. Thanks for your help! We always get a great response for You Decide polls and we’ve had to turn the comments off so it doesn’t get really slow. But they’ll be back on for Monday’s blog.

Cave Expedition!

Hello Penguins!

There’s something behind the rubble!! Looks like all your hard work helping to clear the rocks at the Mine has paid off! We’ve already seen tons of you with your construction hats and shovels exploring the Mine Cave! Here are a few hints:

• Throw snowballs at the generator to keep the lights going
• Dig to find 4 pieces of a really special pin
• If you don’t get the pieces right away, keep trying…

The word around the island is that these rooms will be closed soon so check them out now! We really want to know how the exploration’s going – let us know what you’re finding!

Stage Update

Hello Penguins!

It’s almost time to switch it up at the Stage with the return of Fairy Fables! If you haven’t acted or directed for this play yet, make sure you check it out. Last year it won the Penguin Play Award for Best Costumes!

Speaking of the Penguin Play Awards, keep your eyes open for a vote that’ll be coming to the blog soon. You’ll be able to help decide which plays will be competing for the awards in 2010!

New penguin Style Catalog

Hello Penguins! First of all, I want to thank all of you for your patience yesterday when the Penguin Style catalog didn’t launch. We are really sorry for the delay and I know a lot of you were looking forward to the new T-shirts! The team was able to launch the catalog and the fireworks today and we hope you enjoy checking it out with your friends. We’re really excited to hear what you think about creating your own T-shirts in the Gift Shop! In other news: There’s something new for Fire Ninjas who wear their Fire Suits. The Holiday Party has come to a close, and we want to wish everyone a huge thanks for making it a success!

We’ve heard from a lot of you wondering what’s coming up in the new year. Well, I can say for sure that 2010 is going to start off with a bang!

A new event’s on the way that will lead penguins into secret places! More games are incoming too that will test your skills!

Look for all new jobs and mysteries… And maybe even a certain polar bear…
